If exotic, pristine beaches framed out by lush tropical gardens amidst a mountainous landscape surrounded by a sea of blue sounds inviting, then hit the Islands of St. Kitts and Nevis on your Charter!

St. Kitts and Nevis are where the Northeastern Caribbean meets the Western Atlantic.  The are a “two island country” according to sir Wikipedia which is why most people speak of them using the same breath.  It helps that they are only 2 miles apart. You can add these two islands to a week long Charter starting from St. Maarten or starting from Antigua.

Since we are BVI trained charter guests, our first quest is for the best beach bars on these two islands.  After all, a drink in your hand and toes in the sand is where a true Chillaxin’  Charter vacation begins! We turn to the experts who have already created a list of the Best Beach Bars in St. Kitt’s, by travel writer, Tisdall.  We like the “Rush Slowly” mentality of Reggae Beach Bar, but they all will offer you a flare of Caribbean style during your visit.  But wait! Tisdall seems to have missed our travel and lifestyle blogging friend of rushslowlyBeach Bar Bums favorite pick of the island:  Lion Rock Beach Bar.   Beach Bar Bums recently created his own list of Must Visit St. Kitt and Nevis Beach Bar’s! Side bar– If you like Beach Bar Bums motto of “Livin’ de life one beach bar at a time” we highly recommend following their social media pages!

Your Charter Captain will be your personal guide to make sure you hit a few of the best beaches.  The dormant volcano of St. Kitt’s left behind a few black sand beaches which are always a site to see, but you may not want to hang out there long.  Instead, venture to the seclusion and white sands of Banana Bay to find uninterrupted peace or let the Captain guide you to his pick of any of the the AMAZING DIVE SITES to scuba or snorkel the reefs, wrecks and wall caves!  The Atlantic side of the island does offer body surfing and surfing opportunities depending on conditions.

If you have a land lover on Charter with you who simply has to explore and is in good stkittsrainforestshape, then the Nevis Peak Hike might be just the adventure.  It’s a dense jungle experience not to be done in flip flops! Too intense, then a horseback ride through the rainforest might be more your style or maybe some island shopping.  Beware, the cruise ship goers will take to the land and can crowd up the island.  It’s a good thing you are on a private yacht and can avoid all things with congestion, timelines and deadlines!

Once back on the water and aboard your Charter yacht, continue to discover the beautiful anchorages around the beaches of St. Kitt’s and Nevis.  The water conditions are generally perfect for enjoying water sports–tubing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, or slow the pace with some SUP and kayak time to simply soak in the natural beauty of the island!
