Just wrapped up our family Catamaran charter trip to Croatia, and what a time it has been! We were aboard FLORAMYE, the brand new 67’ sailing catamaran from June 9th – 16th. Embarking from Trogir, we hit Korcula, Bisevo ( Komiza), Hvar, Stari Gradi, Bol, and disembarked at Split! We enjoyed peaceful rides on the bow with smooth sailing conditions, and divine traditional meals prepared by our chef. Each day held plenty of room for both relaxation and exploration. Our crew did an amazing job at showing us many breathtaking bays for a swim, as well as entertaining beach clubs. We are so grateful we got the opportunity to explore so much of Croatia, so let’s dive in on our day to day adventures!
Day 1 – Embarkation
We kicked off the trip in Trogir, just a short taxi ride from the Split airport, and boarded FLORAMYE, our beautiful catamaran home for the week. The first sail was an easy three-hour cruise with a relaxed vibe and lunch underway, thanks to our amazing chef, Igor. We dropped anchor at the Pakleni Islands, where we spent the afternoon lounging on daybeds at Laganini Beach Club—good music, great drinks, and even better people-watching. After a refreshing swim off the boat in the evening, we sat down to dinner onboard: eggplant parmigiana to start, followed by a rich beef saffron risotto that was completely worth the food coma. Safe to say, we were off to a strong start.

Day 2 – Swim+Sail+Winery
We eased into the day with a peaceful yoga session on the bow (go Kenzie!). The bay was glassy and calm—perfect for some early paddleboarding laps and quick morning swim. After breakfast at anchor, we cruised from the Pakleni Islands to the Pelješac Peninsula, covering 33 nautical miles in about three hours. Lunch was served while we sailed on toward Korčula: a seafood spread that totally stole the show—marinated tuna, smoked swordfish, grilled octopus, sardines, and the freshest cherry tomato salad. Once anchored near Korčula, we took the dinghy in for a wine tasting at Korta Katarina, which offered stunning views and some seriously good local wine. We moored in Old Town Korčula, explored its charming alleys, and caught a sunset cocktail before dinner onboard—burrata salad, chicken saltimbocca, and fruit tortes.

Day 3 – Relaxation + Gatsby Party
We started dockside in Korčula, which meant a peaceful morning walk through Old Town—quaint cafés, sea views, the fortress, and cute local shops we couldn’t resist. Breakfast came with a side of entertainment watching bareboat captains navigate the narrow marina exit. Then we set off on a mellow two-hour cruise to Šćedro, where we anchored in a quiet bay for an afternoon of swimming, paddleboarding, and soaking up the sun. Lunch was cozy and casual—tomato bisque, grilled cheese, and steak salad. We ended the day with a fun Great Gatsby-themed dinner party and a feast to match: shrimp cocktail, beef tartare, sirloin, and a variety display of desserts.

Day 4 – Coasting + Croatian Culture
Chef Igor’s 44th birthday! Woke up on anchor and started the day with a swim and pilates workout on the bow. Cruised to Diamond Beach Bar in Lukavac, soaked in the sun, and learned a bit of history (Vis was once called Isla by the Greeks!) On our sail to Vis we soaked up the beautiful cliffs on the southern coast before docking in Komiža. We took an evening stroll to explore the town, then a breathtaking professional family photo shoot at a hilltop church! Enjoyed our traditional peka dinner at a family restaurant, Magic, in the lavender fields of their vineyard! Ended the night with gelato and drinks at the quirky Jail Bar—definitely a day to remember.

Day 5 – Blue Cave + Beach Club + Night Life
We kicked off the day with a private morning excursion to the Blue Cave—absolutely surreal, and no surprise it draws thousands daily. While cruising to Hvar, we spotted the Mamma Mia 2 beach. Lunch on anchor was Chef Igor’s magic soup, BBQ chicken, and homemade salsa by Kristina. The afternoon was filled with lounging and enjoying a VIP cabana at Carpe Diem— the girls loved the outdoor aesthetic. After wandering through Hvar’s shops and grabbing espresso martinis at Kavino, we had dinner at Paradise Garden and hit the town—Nautica bar, Lola, and Seven kept the energy going well into the night.

Day 6 – Bike tour + Celebration Night
We started the day with a hike up to the Fortica fortress in Hvar—worth it for the views alone. Next up was a private e-bike and wine tasting tour with Hvar Life. The scenic ride was stunning ( definitely glad we had e-bikes for our 26 miles traveled!), and the candlelit cellar tasting at Duboković Winery was a standout with their variety of flavored olive oils to taste. Lunch was homemade and heartfelt at Konoba Kokot, a local family-run spot that served us perhaps the freshest grilled chicken we’ve ever enjoyed. After freshening up back at the marina, we explored Stari Grad and grabbed a cocktail at Mola Podloža. We wrapped the night with dinner, games, and a sweet graduation celebration for our BC grad, Madison!

Day 7 – Winery & Wandering
Our final full day started with a peaceful walk around Stari Grad and a morning swim in “Silent Bay” while enjoying breakfast onboard. We cruised over to Brač and kicked things off with a playful wine tasting at Stina, followed by cocktails and shopping in Bol. Lunch at Kala pizzeria was a hidden gem—tucked into the hillside with a great vibe. After a lazy afternoon siesta, we shared our last dinner onboard with the crew, then headed back into town for one last round of drinks at Varadero to celebrate Captain Nino’s birthday. A perfect end to an unforgettable week.
