Who we are and what we do

Chillaxin' Charters is a retail charter brokerage. We help you choose a yacht and crew, and we arrange the booking on your behalf. We do not own, operate or crew the yachts shown on this site, except where a yacht is expressly identified as ours.

The charter agreement is separate

Any charter you book is governed by a written charter agreement between you and the yacht's owner or operator, usually on an industry-standard form. That agreement — not this website — sets out the price, the payment schedule, the cancellation terms, the insurance position and what happens if the yacht becomes unavailable. Read it before you sign it.

Our advisory service is free to you. Yacht owners pay broker commission, and industry practice is that every broker quotes the same published rate.

Yacht information, rates and availability

Yacht specifications, photography, rates and calendars on this site come from third-party industry feeds and from the yachts' central agents. They can change without notice and can be out of date or contain errors. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and no booking exists until it is confirmed in writing and the required deposit has been received by the party named in your charter agreement.

Rates shown generally exclude the Advance Provisioning Allowance, fuel, dockage, taxes, delivery fees and gratuities unless stated otherwise. We will set out what is and is not included when we quote you.

Sample itineraries

Itineraries published on this site are illustrations of what a week can look like. Actual routes are decided by the captain based on weather, sea state, guest preference and local regulations, and will differ.

Using this website

You may browse, print and share these pages for your own charter planning. You may not copy the site's text, photography or design for commercial use, scrape the yacht listings, or attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security.

Intellectual property

The Chillaxin' Charters name, logo, written content and site design belong to Chillaxin' Charters. Yacht photography and specifications remain the property of the yachts' owners, central agents or photographers and are used here to market those yachts.

Travel documents, insurance and health

You are responsible for valid passports, visas, and any entry, vaccination or customs requirements for the countries in your itinerary. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance for every charter. We can point you toward the requirements we are aware of, but we cannot be responsible for entry decisions made by any government.

Limitation of liability

This website is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Chillaxin' Charters is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on information published on it, and is not liable for the acts or omissions of yacht owners, operators, crew, marinas or other suppliers. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Third-party links and embedded content

Some pages link to or embed content hosted elsewhere, including maps, itinerary documents and articles. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or availability.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Your charter agreement may specify a different governing law, and where it does, that agreement controls the charter itself.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
