Captain: Mark Littlewood
Mark began his maritime career walking the docks in Antibes. For two years he learned the ropes as a deckhand on superyachts up to 50m in length. One of these carried a sailing dinghy, the famous Drascombe Lugger, and it was this small traditional craft that first spawned his love of sailing.
A chance encounter with a family friend in 2012 gave Mark the chance to start crewing during race events in the UK. In the next few years he took part in multiple ‘Cowes Week Regattas’, and ‘Round The Island’ Races, he earned a 3rd in class finish in 2014.
Moving to Croatia in 2016 Mark found work as a sailing instructor and lead skipper on flotillas. In this role he would prove an adept teacher: instructing and examining hundreds of newly qualified skippers and managing flotillas of up to 25 yachts.
In 2020 Mark bought his own yacht “Nicky Tam”, a classic ketch rigged Camper & Nicholson 39, which he still sails and races for pleasure at home in Croatia to this day.
Eventually Mark transitioned away from teaching and into the world of being a freelance skipper. Over the course of two years (2021/22) he completed dozens of successful charters in Croatia and several yacht deliveries further afield. Having sailed just about every corner of Croatia, he sought out a new challenge in Greece. He took command of a Lagoon 46 ‘Mavilu’ for the summer of 2023 in the Ionian where he quickly proved himself, running all charters successfully and participating in a month-long trip in the Dodecanese. He has a positive attitude, is professional and adaptable. With his diverse skill set acquired over more than a decade in the industry, there’s very little in yachting that Mark doesn’t know. We’re certain that Mark will provide all guests on board an excellent and unforgettable experience out on the water!
Chef: Marcelle Karina
Mohini is a friendly and professional Chef, very dedicated to her culinary innovations, always willing to learn new skills and working as a team. She believes that creativity in the workplace is the key to success!
Growing up in the bustling cultural hub of Rio de Janiero with a passion for food, Mohini studied gastronomy and hospitality and quickly turned her passion into a career. After graduating she worked her way to head chef of her own restaurant in Rio, as well as chef for several years at holistic retreats that prepare food for over 200 guests.
Passionate about food, travel, and culture, Mohini found her love for the sea on holiday and took her culinary skills with her on the water, working as sole chef on several catamarans and moving up to larger motor yachts in both South America and Europe.
With a keen eye to detail, dedication and perfection, she is always looking for new flavours to bring to her repertoire of cooking. She combines traveling with working to bring the best of cultures and what there is to discover to the kitchen, and embraces the challenge of preparing new dishes for her clients using her own unique style and her extensive cultural experiences.
Combining cuisines of Brazil and Mexico, Arabic, Indian, and Thai food, as well as Mediterranean, Mohini is looking forward to providing a tailor-made menu for your charter that is as unique as it is delicious, and can even add a new twist to your favourite Greek dishes.
